Insurance Period and Coverage During Storage

Practical Example 1: Insufficient Cargo Pre-Cooling Before Loading
Refrigerated food was loaded into a reefer container with a Set Point of 2°C, but the Cargo Core Temperature at loading was 12°C. The Set Point was correct, and no significant abnormality was found in the Supply Air Temperature during transportation.
Quality deterioration was identified after arrival. However, the shipper had no cargo pre-cooling records, and the available evidence showed that the cargo was already too warm when loaded.
